Wellbeing

We believe that every child needs to feel ‘happy and safe’ to succeed at school and this is our mission. The explicit teaching of Social and Emotional skills aim to give children the ability to get along with others and recognise emotions before choosing strong positive behaviours in response to them.

We recognise positive behaviours at assemblies, in our weekly newsletter and as part of our classroom structures and environment. Teachers aim to build positive relationships with all students in order to build trust and confidence in a student’s ability to learn.

The school believes that the wellbeing of all students, school staff, parents and families is paramount to being a successful school and we strive to build strong relationships within our school community to provide the best for students in our care.
